If you still have questions, you can write to us at <\/mark><a href=\"mailto:cazari@electronica.pub.ro\"><strong>cazari@electronica.pub.ro<\/strong><\/a>.<mark style=\"background-color:#cf2e2e\" class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\">. We will not answer questions whose answers are already provided in the announcement or in the attached document.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Announcement September 21<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Emails containing the assignments are currently being sent to institutional email addresses (@stud.etti.upb.ro). In some cases, they will be sent to the email addresses registered on <a href=\"https:\/\/studenti.pub.ro\/\">students.pub.ro<\/a>. We expect all emails to be sent by 10:00 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The allocations will be uploaded to the platform <a href=\"https:\/\/studenti.pub.ro\/\">students.pub.ro<\/a> throughout the day on September 22, after which the \u201ePayments\u201d section will become active. Payment of the lodging fee will be made exclusively through this section once it becomes active. <strong>Payment cannot be made via Revolut.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The deadline for making the payment is September 23 at 12:00 p.m. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the loss of the right to the assigned spot.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To confirm their housing assignment, all students must upload proof of payment of the housing fee or, if applicable, the exemption document to the online form provided in the housing assignment email. This requirement applies regardless of whether or not the documents were previously uploaded to the contract website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After payment is made, the accommodation contract will be automatically generated on the platform <a href=\"https:\/\/studenti.pub.ro\/\">students.pub.ro<\/a>. Afterward, you can check in at the dorm according to the housing schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>First-year students whose housing contract does not match the room indicated in the assignment email must go to the dorm with their new contract.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since the number of applications was higher than in previous years, all rooms in the Leu A and Leu C dormitories were assigned to students from our college. Unfortunately, we were unable to accommodate applications from students at other colleges for these two dormitories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you wish to decline the assigned position, please send an email to <a href=\"mailto:cazari@electronica.pub.ro\">cazari@electronica.pub.ro<\/a>, in which you should include your identification information and state that you are canceling your reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Announcement, September 19, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allocations for the dormitories <strong>P1, P14, and P19<\/strong> have been sent to your institutional email addresses. Please check your inbox and follow the instructions in the email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>All students <\/strong>(not just those living in dorms P1, P14, and P19) who are eligible for <strong>a discount on the lodging rate or free lodging<\/strong> must upload the supporting documents <strong>through September 21, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>on <a href=\"https:\/\/studenti.pub.ro\">students.pub.ro<\/a>, in the <strong>\u201eAccommodation Request\u201d<\/strong>, by checking the appropriate category and uploading the document.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/M7txxU1J6bTs16j99\">form for supporting documents<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have multiple documents, combine them into a single file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#cf2e2e\" class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\">You must upload your documents both to the studenti.pub.ro platform and to the form. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in your housing application being invalidated.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allocations for <strong>the rest of the dorms <\/strong>will be sent by email sometime during the day on <strong>September 20, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please check the faculty website and your institutional email address for announcements regarding housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Announcement, September 16<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students who meet the criteria set forth in the PNRR guidelines and wish to live in dormitories <strong>P1 or P14<\/strong> must follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access the platform <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/studenti.pub.ro\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/studenti.pub.ro\/\">students.pub<\/a><\/strong>, section <strong>\u201eAccommodation Request\u201d<\/strong>, and upload the supporting documents proving that they belong to the category of \u201estudents from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds\u201d under the heading <strong>\u201ePNRR Supporting Documents\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose your favorite dorm from the two: <strong>P1 or P14<\/strong> and save the request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To load <strong>required, and on <a href=\"https:\/\/etti.pub.ro\/contracte\/index_user.php\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/etti.pub.ro\/contracte\/index_user.php\">contracts platform<\/a>, both the accommodation request and the supporting documents for the PNRR<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-background-color has-background wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:#cf2e2e\" class=\"has-inline-color has-white-color\">Warning! SUBMITTING ACCOMMODATION REQUESTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students who wish to secure housing for the academic year <strong>2026\u20132027<\/strong> must fill in all the information requested in the section <strong>\"Accommodations\"<\/strong> on <a href=\"https:\/\/etti.pub.ro\/contracte\/login.php\">ETTI Contract Platform<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students who do not have access to the platform\u2014Romanians living abroad, first-year master\u2019s students, and students from outside ETTI\u2014are asked to fill out <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/e\/c2iyMwAtCk\">2026\u20132027 Housing Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>International students:<\/strong> To apply for housing for the <strong>2026\u20132027 academic year<\/strong>, please complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/e\/c2iyMwAtCk\">Accommodation Application Form<\/a>. <strong>Application deadline: September 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Deadline for submitting applications: September 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>First year students who already have an accommodation contract<\/strong> They do not need to fill out the form on the ETTI contract platform. They should go directly to the administration office of the assigned dormitory, as indicated in the housing assignment, with a copy of the contract, to pick up their room key. If the assignment changes, they should go to the administration office of the new dormitory with a copy of the new contract, which will be sent by email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Except as noted above, providing this information is required for <strong>all students who apply for housing, from undergraduate and master's programs<\/strong>, including those who have already submitted an application on the studenti.pub.ro platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. CPV students pay <strong>560 RON per person per month<\/strong>, or <strong>1,100 RON\/month for single occupancy<\/strong>, with the euro equivalent calculated at the BNR exchange rate on the payment date. <strong>ERASMUS+, ERASMUS MUNDUS, and EPICO students must pay the full semester fee in advance<\/strong>, as listed in the table above. Payments must be made to the university\u2019s <strong>EUR accounts<\/strong> listed above, including your <strong>last name, first name, dormitory, room, and month<\/strong> in the payment details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Rooms and Financial Aid in Dormitories P1 and P14<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the dorms <strong>P1 and P14<\/strong>, <strong>40% from the accommodations<\/strong> are intended for students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds or other vulnerable groups, in accordance with the criteria set forth in the PNRR guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following have priority, in this order:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students eligible for a need-based scholarship.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students from localities that receive government support under Government Decision No. 323\/1996 and Government Decision No. 395\/1996.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students from disadvantaged areas, as defined by Government Emergency Ordinance No. 24\/1998.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students residing in rural areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students from other vulnerable groups.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students from <strong>the first two categories<\/strong> Those who choose to stay in these dormitories receive, for the duration of their stay, a <strong>a special scholarship of 500 lei per month<\/strong>, provided by the university in addition to the financial aid grant, to help cover the cost of housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Continuity in P1 and P14:<\/strong> students living in these dormitories during the academic year <strong>2025\u20132026<\/strong> are eligible for continued housing if they express a desire to live in the same dormitories during the academic year <strong>2026\u20132027<\/strong>. This provision applies to the dormitory and does not guarantee that you will be assigned the same room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Details regarding eligibility and the conditions for granting financial support are available in <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/16BVa9rr-pqquGOuAhwelv0hwfHs46_wU\/view?usp=sharing\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/16BVa9rr-pqquGOuAhwelv0hwfHs46_wU\/view?usp=sharing\"><strong>Notice Regarding Accommodation Rates<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who is eligible for the subsidy?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Category 1:<\/strong> Students whose education is funded by the state budget receive a housing subsidy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Category 2:<\/strong> Students who have lost one parent, students from foster care, children of teachers or teaching assistants, children who are descendants of heroes of the Revolution, recipients of Romanian government scholarships, foreign students exempt from tuition fees, and students from single-parent families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students who fall under the category of <strong>both categories<\/strong> benefits from <strong>1.5 subsidy units<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Supporting Documents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To qualify for Category 2, the following must be submitted, depending on the situation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copy of the parent's death certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certificate from the foster care center, original.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An original teaching certificate, which must be endorsed by the county school inspectorate for pre-university educational institutions, or by the university rector. The document must explicitly state the student\u2019s name and indicate that it is issued for the purpose of housing in a dormitory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certificate of Descendant, original.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The certificates must not be older than 30 days at the time of check-in.<\/strong> Students from single-parent families must upload documents proving this situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A single-parent family is defined as a family in which the children live with a single parent who is not married. This situation may result from divorce, the parents\u2019 separation, the death of one of the parents, the adoption of a minor by a single person, or the birth of a child out of wedlock when the mother does not live with a partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Discounts and Freebies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students with disabilities are eligible for a <strong>50% reduction in dormitory fees<\/strong>, pursuant to Article 16(8) of Law No. 448\/2006, as subsequently amended and supplemented. The reduction is applied after the administrative fee has been calculated, depending on the type of subsidy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Specific provisions from the university's announcement for the 2026\u20132027 academic year:<\/strong> Students with disabilities are eligible for <strong>2 grant units<\/strong>, according to OME No. 7844\/2024.
