First part is dedicated to the description of the \"Smart Power\" specific technologies including solution for the automotive operating conditions that are at the very limit of common semiconductor devices. Isolation techniques and reverse current problems are dealt in detail. Many typical automotive functions like low\/high side drivers, level shifters, charge pumps, high voltage comparators and linear voltage regulators are exposed.
