{"id":9557,"date":"2025-11-02T10:38:51","date_gmt":"2025-11-02T08:38:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/etti.upb.ro\/?p=9557"},"modified":"2025-11-02T11:07:49","modified_gmt":"2025-11-02T09:07:49","slug":"robofest-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/etti.upb.ro\/en\/2025\/11\/02\/robofest-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"RoboFest 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ETTI students in large numbers at RoboFest 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This weekend saw another edition of the <strong>RoboFest<\/strong>, the event organized by the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA in Bucharest, dedicated to robotics and artificial intelligence enthusiasts.<br><br>University of <strong>Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ETTI)<\/strong> was proudly represented by an impressive number of students who participated in various competitions, demonstrating creativity, perseverance and team spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Competitions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Combat Robot 1lb:<\/strong> Dragomir Mihai Andrei, Mogda Ionu\u021b, Isac Alexandru, Micle Beniamin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Micro Sumo:<\/strong> Negru Alexandru, Cazan Florin Ciprian, Georgescu Andrei, Teianu Andrei, Oro\u0219anu Alexandru, Oancea Rare\u0219, Teodor Furtun\u0103<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mini Sumo:<\/strong> Voicu Sc\u0103una\u0219u Andreea Alexandra, Bogdan Ioan Iustinian<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Line Follower:<\/strong> Baia\u0219 Silviu Andrei, Rakosfalvy Mark<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Freestyle:<\/strong> Dumitru Costin Cosmin, Guzu Alexandru<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mini Sumo (we had two teams):<\/strong> Pantelimon Emanuel, Ene Alexandru, Zhao Han David, Stancu Claudiu, Stoica Fabian<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We are proud to see so many committed and passionate students carrying forward the ETTI spirit of innovation!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ETTI stand at RoboFest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the festival, the faculty had a <strong>own stand<\/strong>, where visitors could discover a wide range of projects by students and teachers. Our colleagues interacted with participants, gave demonstrations and showed how imagination and technology can come to life:<br><strong>\u201eAll you can imagine, you can do.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colleagues were present at the stand: <strong>Andrei D\u0103escu, Valentin Voiculescu, Ana-Maria Dr\u0103gulinescu, Alexandru Guzu, R\u0103zvan Cr\u0103ciunescu, STM32 STM32 system with Snake game<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>12 matrix 8\u00d78 display system (adjustable message)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SmartTag, PosturaIQ, Medical IoT for First Aid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultivar-Aware Smart Agriculture System<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Smart Glove with Sign Translation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mountain Wearable Weather Station<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Multispectral Air Quality Station<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perseus Ground Station &amp; Sounding Balloon Tracker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WS2812 LED matrix and string projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3D printer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drones and robots: Dragonfang, Quadpod, Quadruped Robot UnitreeGo1, MiniSumo, Nao<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SCADA and SCCS platforms, bionic equipment and more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>? <strong>The ETTI stand can still be visited today, the last day of the event!<\/strong><br>We look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to discover our projects, talk to the students and colleagues involved and see how
