Assignment procedure to the study programs (specializations) of second year IETTI students
In order to be assigned to study programs (specializations), students enrolled in the second year, academic year 2023-2024 in the field of ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING, TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES (IETTI), may express their options until September 5, 2024 by filling in the online form available at http://etti.pub.ro/specializari
- There is no need to submit an application to the secretariat, the registration and processing of options is done in a similar way to the options for optional subjects in the study contract.
- Students enrolled in the field of COMPUTERS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (CTI) do not have to choose their options because within this field there is only one specialization: "Information Engineering" to which they will be assigned by default.
A limited number of domain transfer requests (IETTI-CTI or CTI-IETTI) can be approved within the limits of the enrollment and depending on the average. Domain transfer requests will be uploaded in the created assignment section on the Moodle page 04-ETTI-L-A2-S2: Specializations (2023) https://curs.upb.ro/2023/course/view.php?id=15205
- Students who apply to transfer their major must first register their major choices on the online form regardless of whether or not the transfer request will be approved.
For the Romanian-taught series, the following study programs are available in the IETTI field:
- ELA (Applied Electronics);
- RST (Telecommunication networks and software);
- TST (Telecommunications Technologies and Systems);
- MON (Microelectronics, Optoelectronics and Nanotechnologies).
For study programs in English only the following options are available
- ELA (Applied Electronics);
- TST (Telecommunications Technologies and Systems).
