Within UNSTPB (ex UPB), centralized access credentials are used to access IT educational platforms, except for the following one: student.

Important information, valid from the academic year 2020-2021:

• access data for personal accounts managed by UPB (moodle account, institutional email, Microsoft account) is managed through the platform https://my.upb.ro/. Here you can do it password reset or account activation. For those who have had an account, you can access this platform (and the others) with the old password. Here you just have to update personal data (very important), to be able to recover your password when you can no longer access your accounts. 
• after activating the account through https://my.upb.ro/, if you can't access your Microsoft account, you'll need to sign in https://curs.upb.ro/ and change the password, respecting the high degree of complexity, otherwise Microsoft does not accept it (at least 12 characters, 4 characters, no words from the dictionary or username). Microsoft account generation may take up to 24 hours after you change your password. Also, even if you have a Microsoft account after changing your password on moodle or https://my.upb.ro/ you must wait a while for it to spread to Microsoft servers as well.  
• for students there is the application https://studenti.pub.ro/ what is the starting point for access to other applications; Here it's important to set up a personal email address and phone number, which will automatically spread to your account. https://my.upb.ro/ where you can recover passwords for your other accounts.
• access issues are reported on the platform https://ticketing.upb.ro/. Attention, just report here account access issues  https://my.upb.ro/

Remarks:

• PhD will need to send a message to the address nicoleta.branisteanu@upb.ro containing the authentication data (name, cnp) and contact data (personal email, telephone) that will be used to reset the password of the UPB account (the electronics administrator does not have rights over doctoral student accounts).
• For external collaborators, the department director or the master program holder will need to send a message to the address admin@etti.pub.ro containing the authentication data (name, cnp) and contact data (personal email, phone) of the person for whom the access account is requested. The issue will be resolved if the data subject has an active contract (employee, collaboration, project, etc.).
