Announcement September 21
Emails containing the assignments are currently being sent to institutional email addresses (@stud.etti.upb.ro). In some cases, they will be sent to the email addresses registered on students.pub.ro. We expect all emails to be sent by 10:00 a.m.
The allocations will be uploaded to the platform students.pub.ro throughout the day on September 22, after which the „Payments” section will become active. Payment of the lodging fee will be made exclusively through this section once it becomes active. Payment cannot be made via Revolut.
The deadline for making the payment is September 23 at 12:00 p.m. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the loss of the right to the assigned spot.
To confirm their housing assignment, all students must upload proof of payment of the housing fee or, if applicable, the exemption document to the online form provided in the housing assignment email. This requirement applies regardless of whether or not the documents were previously uploaded to the contract website.
After payment is made, the accommodation contract will be automatically generated on the platform students.pub.ro. Afterward, you can check in at the dorm according to the housing schedule.
First-year students whose housing contract does not match the room indicated in the assignment email must go to the dorm with their new contract.
Since the number of applications was higher than in previous years, all rooms in the Leu A and Leu C dormitories were assigned to students from our college. Unfortunately, we were unable to accommodate applications from students at other colleges for these two dormitories.
If you wish to decline the assigned position, please send an email to cazari@electronica.pub.ro, in which you should include your identification information and state that you are canceling your reservation.
Announcement, September 19, 2026
Allocations for the dormitories P1, P14, and P19 have been sent to your institutional email addresses. Please check your inbox and follow the instructions in the email.
All students (not just those living in dorms P1, P14, and P19) who are eligible for a discount on the lodging rate or free lodging must upload the supporting documents through September 21, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.:
- on students.pub.ro, in the „Accommodation Request”, by checking the appropriate category and uploading the document.
- in form for supporting documents.
If you have multiple documents, combine them into a single file.
You must upload your documents both to the studenti.pub.ro platform and to the form. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in your housing application being invalidated.
Allocations for the rest of the dorms will be sent by email sometime during the day on September 20, 2026.
Please check the faculty website and your institutional email address for announcements regarding housing.
Announcement, September 16
Students who meet the criteria set forth in the PNRR guidelines and wish to live in dormitories P1 or P14 must follow these steps:
- Access the platform students.pub, section „Accommodation Request”, and upload the supporting documents proving that they belong to the category of „students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds” under the heading „PNRR Supporting Documents”.
- Choose your favorite dorm from the two: P1 or P14 and save the request.
- To load required, and on contracts platform, both the accommodation request and the supporting documents for the PNRR.
Warning! If you do not follow all of the steps above, your housing application will not be considered, and you risk not being assigned housing.

Announcement September 15
1. SUBMITTING ACCOMMODATION REQUESTS
Students who wish to secure housing for the academic year 2026–2027 must fill in all the information requested in the section "Accommodations" on ETTI Contract Platform.
Students who do not have access to the platform—Romanians living abroad, first-year master’s students, and students from outside ETTI—are asked to fill out 2026–2027 Housing Form.
International students: To apply for housing for the 2026–2027 academic year, please complete the Accommodation Application Form. Application deadline: September 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

First year students who already have an accommodation contract They do not need to fill out the form on the ETTI contract platform. They should go directly to the administration office of the assigned dormitory, as indicated in the housing assignment, with a copy of the contract, to pick up their room key. If the assignment changes, they should go to the administration office of the new dormitory with a copy of the new contract, which will be sent by email.
Except as noted above, providing this information is required for all students who apply for housing, from undergraduate and master's programs, including those who have already submitted an application on the studenti.pub.ro platform.
2. ACCOMMODATION SCHEDULE ETTI
- September 18, 11:59 p.m. — deadline for submitting the housing application.
- September 19–21 — the allocation of seats based on expressed preferences, priorities, and grade point averages.
- September 21, 2:00 p.m. — deadline for sending the assignment or notification of the inability to assign via email to all applicants.
- September 23, 10:00 a.m. — Deadline for paying the dormitory fee and uploading proof of payment or documents for fee exemption, in accordance with the regulations.
- September 23, 12:00 p.m. — Deadline for emailing accommodation contracts to students who have uploaded proof of payment.
- September 23 — Housing for students who lived in university dormitories during the summer, according to the dormitory schedule below.
- September 24–28 — Housing for students coming from outside the city, according to each dormitory's schedule.
Decay after the summer: Students who no longer wish to live in the dormitory must vacate their rooms on the following days: September 21–22.

Tuition Fees for International Students
According to Appendix 1 Regarding the announcement on housing for the 2026–2027 academic year, tuition rates for international students have been approved for the period October 2026–June 2027.
Students receiving scholarships from the Romanian government
Students receiving scholarships from the Romanian government, with 1.5 subsidy units, pay 100 lei per seat per month in the dorms P4, P5, P6, P7, P8, P9, P10, P11, P17, P18, P16, P21, P22, P23, P24, P25, P26, P27, and Leu A.
CPV International Students
- 560 lei per seat per month.
- 1,100 lei/month, if they live alone in a room.
Fees can be paid in euros at the NBR exchange rate on the payment date, as set forth in the annex.
ERASMUS+, ERASMUS MUNDUS, EPICO, etc., students.
Tuition is paid in advance for the entire semester. The accommodation periods listed in the annex are:
- First Semester: September 26, 2026–February 15, 2027.
- Second Semester: February 26, 2027–June 27, 2027.
The rates below are expressed in euro. It is possible to rent an entire room subject to availability.

Payment of dormitory fees for international students
According to the appendix, international students will pay the dormitory fee in accounts in euros of the university:

Payment details: LAST NAME, FIRST NAME, DORM, ROOM, MONTH.
International students: Romanian state scholarship recipients pay 100 RON per person per month in the dormitories listed above. CPV students pay 560 RON per person per month, or 1,100 RON/month for single occupancy, with the euro equivalent calculated at the BNR exchange rate on the payment date. ERASMUS+, ERASMUS MUNDUS, and EPICO students must pay the full semester fee in advance, as listed in the table above. Payments must be made to the university’s EUR accounts listed above, including your last name, first name, dormitory, room, and month in the payment details.
Rooms and Financial Aid in Dormitories P1 and P14
In the dorms P1 and P14, 40% from the accommodations are intended for students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds or other vulnerable groups, in accordance with the criteria set forth in the PNRR guidelines.
The following have priority, in this order:
- Students eligible for a need-based scholarship.
- Students from localities that receive government support under Government Decision No. 323/1996 and Government Decision No. 395/1996.
- Students from disadvantaged areas, as defined by Government Emergency Ordinance No. 24/1998.
- Students residing in rural areas.
- Students from other vulnerable groups.
Students from the first two categories Those who choose to stay in these dormitories receive, for the duration of their stay, a a special scholarship of 500 lei per month, provided by the university in addition to the financial aid grant, to help cover the cost of housing.
Continuity in P1 and P14: students living in these dormitories during the academic year 2025–2026 are eligible for continued housing if they express a desire to live in the same dormitories during the academic year 2026–2027. This provision applies to the dormitory and does not guarantee that you will be assigned the same room.

Who is eligible for the subsidy?
Category 1: Students whose education is funded by the state budget receive a housing subsidy.
Category 2: Students who have lost one parent, students from foster care, children of teachers or teaching assistants, children who are descendants of heroes of the Revolution, recipients of Romanian government scholarships, foreign students exempt from tuition fees, and students from single-parent families.
Students who fall under the category of both categories benefits from 1.5 subsidy units.
Supporting Documents
To qualify for Category 2, the following must be submitted, depending on the situation:
- Copy of the parent's death certificate
- Certificate from the foster care center, original.
- An original teaching certificate, which must be endorsed by the county school inspectorate for pre-university educational institutions, or by the university rector. The document must explicitly state the student’s name and indicate that it is issued for the purpose of housing in a dormitory.
- Certificate of Descendant, original.
The certificates must not be older than 30 days at the time of check-in. Students from single-parent families must upload documents proving this situation.
A single-parent family is defined as a family in which the children live with a single parent who is not married. This situation may result from divorce, the parents’ separation, the death of one of the parents, the adoption of a minor by a single person, or the birth of a child out of wedlock when the mother does not live with a partner.
Discounts and Freebies
Students with disabilities are eligible for a 50% reduction in dormitory fees, pursuant to Article 16(8) of Law No. 448/2006, as subsequently amended and supplemented. The reduction is applied after the administrative fee has been calculated, depending on the type of subsidy.
Specific provisions from the university's announcement for the 2026–2027 academic year: Students with disabilities are eligible for 2 grant units, according to OME No. 7844/2024. For students with a companion, the following provisions apply: 2 spots and 4 grant awards, calculated based on the total cost of the two seats.
The announcement sets forth the following conditions for students with disabilities:
- Free lodging in the dorms P4, P5, P6, P7, P8, P9, P10, P11, P17, P18, P16, P21, P22, P23, P24, P25, P26, P27, Leu A, and Leu C.
- Accommodation with a comfort surcharge of 426 lei per person per month in the dorms Leu D, P1, P12, and P19.
- Accommodation with a comfort surcharge of 626 lei per person per month in the dorm P14.
- Accommodation with a comfort surcharge of 186 lei per person per month in the dorm P20.
Students who have lost both parents are eligible for free tuition.
Payment Options for Romanian Students
According to the university's general announcement, dormitory fees are paid by the payment module of the studenti.pub.ro platform, by logging into your personal account.
Students who do not yet have an account on the platform will pay the dormitory fees for the month of October to the university's accounts:

Other Terms and Conditions Regarding Rates and Room Occupancy
- If they occur substantial changes in utility costs, the university will assess the impact on housing rates and update the rates for the remaining months until the end of the academic year, as stated in the general announcement.
- If, at the end of the housing period, there are still vacant spots, students may choose to occupy an entire room, paying the corresponding fees for the unoccupied spots. The cost of these spots is divided equally among the students remaining in the room.
- In the dorms P1, P19, P12, and Leu D, exceeding the standard consumption per room entails additional utility payment, as specified in the lodging agreement.

The schedule is tentative and subject to change.
Room assignments: Being assigned a room for the 2026–2027 academic year does not guarantee that you will keep it in subsequent years. Preferences regarding rooms and roommates will be honored to the extent possible, taking into account priorities and grade point averages.
Any modification or improvement to the camera can be made only with the dormitory administration's approval. Carrying out such work does not guarantee that the student will be able to keep the room for the following academic year.
Redistribution based on occupancy rate: After the housing assignments are finalized, the administration may reassign students from rooms or dormitories with low occupancy rates to rooms or dormitories with higher occupancy rates in order to reduce costs, while maintaining the same level of comfort.
