Robots from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology visited Politehnica High School, where the children explored technology through demonstrations and hands-on interaction. Nicolae Georgian and Alexandru Guzu accompanied the quadruped robots and the NAO humanoid robot on a visit designed to introduce the children to robotics.
NAO, a small, autonomous, and programmable robot, and the quadruped robots performed movements and dance routines, sparking the participants’ curiosity. The children watched the demonstrations up close and interacted with the robots in a familiar setting—the classroom.
The event showcased concrete examples of robotics in a school setting and turned the encounter with technology into an experience of exploration through play. The ETTI team’s visit sparked the children’s interest in engineering, research, and programming, starting with things they can observe and experiment with.
