On October 28, 2026, The Microcontroller and Embedded Systems Laboratory within the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology has become HARMAN Automotive Laboratory. Established in partnership with HARMAN Romania, the laboratory is coordinated by the faculty’s associate dean, Associate Professor Dr. Eng. Rodica Constantinescu.

Located in Room B128, the lab brings students' training closer to the technologies and challenges of the automotive industry. The space provides an industry-connected learning environment where students can explore the connections between electronic engineering, microcontrollers, embedded systems, and automotive applications.
In its presentation of the partnership, the school highlights HARMAN’s experience in developing infotainment systems for brands such as BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, and Ferrari. For future engineers, the lab offers the opportunity to explore this field in greater depth and learn about the applications of electronics in the automotive industry.
