Their projects focused on applications in artificial intelligence, communications, robotics, embedded systems, and the Internet of Things:

  • Andrei Mihai-Cosmin – an intelligent system for automatic license plate recognition;
  • Adrian Catalan – wireless control of a mobile platform using hand gestures;
  • Lucian-Andrei Pîrvu – automatic control of ventilation and lighting via Bluetooth;
  • Bianca-Maria Săraru – an intelligent MFA control system in a secure environment, based on Edge AI and IoT;
  • Andreea-Maria Cristea – monitoring environmental parameters at a children's playground.

The work was carried out under the coordination of Associate Professor Rodica-Claudia Constantinescu, Ph.D., Eng. and a Bogdan Alexandrescu, Ph.D., Eng., both co-authors. Their participation gave the students the opportunity to present their findings, talk with experts, and gain experience in scientific communication.

The conference was organized by the SIITME Coordinating Committee, in collaboration with the IEEE and the IEEE Hungary & Romania EPS & NTC Joint Chapter, with „Valahia” University serving as the local organizer.
