Wireless Sensor Networks and the Internet of Things
Course lecturer: prof. dr. eng. Dan TUDOSE
Laboratory assistant: prof. dr. eng. Dan TUDOSE
Wireless sensor networks and the internet of things are a growing sector of the electronics industry and require particular skills and knowledge from students graduating from higher education institutions.
The main objective of this course is to teach wireless sensor network fundamentals and the constraints associated with this type of design. The course views the hardware and software architecture of sensor networks from the point of view of communication, cost and energy constraints. Design optimization is also a topic of study, along with real-time operation and the main operating systems which run on a sensor network node.
