Scholarships

 

Student scholarships awarded by the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology are divided into the following categories:

  1. performance scholarships;
  2. social grants;
  3. other types of scholarships.

Scholarships are awarded in accordance with the provisions:

 

 

Performance scholarships

Performance scholarships are awarded to Politehnica București students enrolled in full-time undergraduate degree programs and who have signed this academic year an additional act with BUGET funding. The categories of performance scholarships are:

  • Performance Grant Grade I
  • Performance Grant Grade II
  • Performance scholarship grade III

The performance incentive scholarships referred to in paragraph 1 shall be awarded for the purpose of (1) may be awarded to students who fall into at least one of the following categories:

  1. have achieved outstanding results in their studies, i.e. have the highest average in the same year of study of a programme;
  2. have achieved scientific performance, innovation and patents.

Performance scholarships are distributed in descending order of grade point average within the budget of each faculty.

Social scholarships

SOCIAL GRANTS - NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

Eligible are promoted students, who have signed this academic year an additional act with BUGET form of financing, have realized over the last 12 months a net income per family member of maximum 2574 lei and are aged 26 years or older.

The accepted banks are: BCR, BRD, BT, ING, UNICREDIT, RAIFFEISEN BANK.

Documents should be submitted to the Secretariat, according to the timetable to be announced by the University. The scholarship award committee, constituted at the faculty level, withdraws/withholds the scholarship received in special cases such as: submission of false documents, departure of the student from the faculty, serious breaches of academic discipline, other special situations.

1. Scholarship recipients - students orphaned by one or both parents, students from single-parent families or students from foster care centers who do not earn more than the ceiling for social scholarships.

  • Application - standard form
  • Affidavit of permanent net income for the last 12 months for the student - standard form. The student will fill in and sign a sworn declaration on the net income, of a permanent nature, obtained by him/her during the last 12 months preceding the application, subject to income tax
  • Agreement on the processing of personal data. A completed and signed consent to the processing of personal data by the student and a completed and signed consent by the parent (if applicable) will be submitted
  • Supporting documents for student's income: receipts, vouchers, and other income supporting documents. Proof of income of a permanent nature, earned during the last 12 months preceding the application (October 2024-September 2025), realized by the student, shall be based on the following supporting documents (as applicable): Salary statement(if applicable), pension vouchers - for pension income(if applicable), certificate from the town hall for income from agricultural, forestry and fish farming activities(if applicable), certificate from the town hall for income from the transfer of use of real estate, as well as for income from the use of land (if applicable), affidavit for income from self-employment and income from intellectual property rights (if applicable), income certificate issued by ANAF for student (2024 and 2025).
  • Supporting documents. Copy of student's ID card and birth certificate, copy of parent's ID card, copy of parent's death certificate), copy of divorce papers, affidavit of the parent that he/she is not remarried, other supporting documents.

In cases of reasonable suspicion, the scholarship award committee may require the student to submit a social inquiry report, carried out in accordance with the legal provisions, showing the exact situation of his/her family. The social inquiry is mandatory if no one in the student's family, including the student, earns any income or at least one of the student's parents works or lives abroad.

2. Beneficiaries of scholarships - students whose family has not realized in the last 12 months an average net monthly income per family member higher than the minimum net basic salary.

  • Application - standard form
  • Affidavit of net income, on a permanent basis, obtained over the last 12 months for each major member of the student's family, including the student - standard form. The student, parents, brothers, sisters (where applicable only those between 18 and 26 years of age who are in education) will fill in and sign the affidavit on the net income, of a permanent nature, obtained during the last 12 months preceding the application, subject to income tax.
  • Agreement on the processing of personal data. The agreement will be completed and signed as follows: one by the student, one by each parent, one for each brother or sister between the ages of 18 and 26 who is attending a form of education. For siblings under the age of 18, the agreement will be signed by both parents or guardians.
  • Supporting documents for student's income: receipts, vouchers, and other income supporting documents. Proof of income of a permanent nature, earned during the last 12 months preceding the application (October 2024-September 2025), earned by the student and the student's family, shall be based on the following supporting documents (as applicable): Salary statement; (if applicable) pension vouchers, for pension income; (if applicable) certificate from the town hall for income from agricultural, forestry and fish farming activities; (if applicable) certificate from the town hall for income from the transfer of use of real estate, as well as for income from the transfer of use of land; (if applicable) affidavit for income from self-employment, as well as for income from intellectual property rights. (if applicable) income certificate issued by ANAF for the student (2024 and 2025).
  • Supporting documents family members. Pupil / student certificate from all brothers or sisters attending a form of education, copy of birth certificate or identity card of all family members (student, parents respectively brothers or sisters up to 18 years of age or up to 26 years of age for those attending a form of education), other supporting documents for the family situation (if applicable).

In cases of reasonable suspicion, the scholarship award committee may require the student to submit a social inquiry report, carried out in accordance with the legal provisions, showing the exact situation of his/her family. The social inquiry is mandatory if no one in the student's family, including the student, has any income or at least one parent of the student works or lives abroad

In the case of married students, the family is considered to be a single family, consisting of husband, wife and children. When determining the income per family member, all income earned by them is taken into account.

3. Beneficiaries of the scholarships- students with tuberculosis, who are in the medical units, during the period of tuberculostatic treatment, insulinonecessary diabetes, malignant diseases, severe malabsorption syndromes, chronic kidney disease in dialysis program, moderate or severe persistent persistent bronchial asthma, grand mal epilepsy, congenital heart disease, chronic hepatitis with advanced fibrosis (stage F3 or F4), glaucoma, severe myopia, severe forms of autoimmune immunological diseases, rare diseases, autism spectrum disorders, severe hematological diseases requiring continuous treatment or frequent hospitalizations, bilateral deafness, cystic fibrosis, those infected with the HIV virus or suffering from AIDS, those with locomotor disabilities and those classified in a degree of disability, regardless of the average income per family member. For this category no documentary evidence of family income is required.

  • Application - standard form
  • Copy of student ID card
  • Agreement on the processing of personal data. An agreement on the processing of personal data completed and signed by the student will be submitted
  • Supporting documents. In this case, a medical certificate issued by a specialized doctor, other than the family doctor, must be submitted, presenting the evolution and clinical picture of the medical problem from which the student suffers and a certificate regarding the eligibility for this type of scholarship, issued by the doctor from the Student Cabinet.
