In order to be assigned to study programs (specializations) students, enrolled in the second year, academic year 2024-2025, in the field of ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING, TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES (IETTI), can express their options until September 10, 2025 via the online form available at http://etti.pub.ro/specializari.

• There is no need to submit an application to the secretariat, the registration and processing of options is done in a similar way to the options for optional subjects in the study contract.
• Students enrolled in the field of COMPUTERS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (CTI) do not have to choose their options, because within this field there is only one specialization: 'Information Engineering' to which they will be assigned by default.

            A limited number of requests for transfer from one domain to another (IETTI-CTI or CTI-IETTI) may be approved within the limits of the enrollment figure and depending on the average. Domain transfer requests will be uploaded in the assignment section created on the 04-ETTI-SPEC: Specializations (2024) (https://curs.upb.ro/2024/course/view.php?id=7983).

• Students who apply to transfer their major must first register their major choices on the online form regardless of whether or not the transfer request will be approved.

            For the Romanian-taught series, the following study programs are available in the IETTI field:

• ELA (Applied Electronics);
• RST (Telecommunication networks and software);
• TST (Telecommunications Technologies and Systems);
• MON (Microelectronics, Optoelectronics and Nanotechnologies).

            For study programs in English only the following options are available

• ELA (Applied Electronics);
• TST (Telecommunications Technologies and Systems).
