ETTI students in large numbers at RoboFest 2025
This weekend saw another edition of the RoboFest, the event organized by the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA in Bucharest, dedicated to robotics and artificial intelligence enthusiasts.
University of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ETTI) was proudly represented by an impressive number of students who participated in various competitions, demonstrating creativity, perseverance and team spirit.
Competitions
- Combat Robot 1lb: Dragomir Mihai Andrei, Mogda Ionuț, Isac Alexandru, Micle Beniamin
- Micro Sumo: Negru Alexandru, Cazan Florin Ciprian, Georgescu Andrei, Teianu Andrei, Oroșanu Alexandru, Oancea Rareș, Teodor Furtună
- Mini Sumo: Voicu Scăunașu Andreea Alexandra, Bogdan Ioan Iustinian
- Line Follower: Baiaș Silviu Andrei, Rakosfalvy Mark
- Freestyle: Dumitru Costin Cosmin, Guzu Alexandru
- Mini Sumo (we had two teams): Pantelimon Emanuel, Ene Alexandru, Zhao Han David, Stancu Claudiu, Stoica Fabian

ETTI stand at RoboFest
Throughout the festival, the faculty had a own stand, where visitors could discover a wide range of projects by students and teachers. Our colleagues interacted with participants, gave demonstrations and showed how imagination and technology can come to life:

- Mountain Wearable Weather Station
- Multispectral Air Quality Station
- Perseus Ground Station & Sounding Balloon Tracker
- WS2812 LED matrix and string projects
- 3D printer
- Drones and robots: Dragonfang, Quadpod, Quadruped Robot UnitreeGo1, MiniSumo, Nao
- SCADA and SCCS platforms, bionic equipment and more.
