Registration is done online on the https://admitere.pub.ro and assumes: 

I. Correct completion of predefined fields in the application form

ATTENTION! The application must be completed in DIACRIPTIC and CAPITAL LETTERS (where applicable) according to the documents provided (candidate's name and surname must be filled in exactly as they appear on the birth certificate; parents' name and surname must be the same as on the birth certificate; home address must be the same as on the identity card, etc.).

Validation of the admission file is delayed if the following are not complied with:

    1. Only C.I./Passport photos containing only the candidate's face are accepted;
    2. Writing with diacritics: ș, ț, ă, î, â;
    3. Candidate's full name and parents according to the candidate's birth certificate;
    4. Permanent address as per C.I. ;
    5. Only candidates who meet one of the criteria in the regulation are allowed to opt for Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications and Information Technologies - English:
        •  
          • High school graduation in English;
          • Certificate of proficiency in English (minimum B2);
          • POLITEHNICA Bucharest Tryout (July 21) – details regarding the event can be found here;
          • Exam A, B or C of the Baccalaureate exam;
          • English with an average of at least 8.00 (for 9th, 10th, 11th grades).

    6. The school report or transcript is uploaded double-sided;
    7. A medical certificate issued no more than 30 days before your application.

II. Provision of documents in electronic format (legible, good quality scanned / photocopies of original documents held by the applicant)

ATTENTION! The originals of these documents will be required for validation at registration. Any discrepancies between the documents provided at registration and those provided at enrolment will result in disqualification from the competition and the application of the legal provisions concerning false declarations.

Any registration made after the deadline will NOT be considered!

For those who wish to physically present themselves at the faculty, it is recommended to have already registered on the admission platform. They should bring all the original documents to the faculty headquarters only to correct any errors in the file and to validate it.

Content of the application file for all candidates (Annex VII of the POLITEHNICA Bucharest Admission Regulations):

    1. Birth certificate of the candidate - scanned/photocopy, in *.jpg or *.pdf format, uploaded online in platform;
    2. Identity card of the candidate that is valid as of the date of registration (If it is a electronic ID card, CEI, the applicant must upload, in addition to the double-sided CEI documents, the *.pdf file generated by the RO CEI Reader application or the electronic certificate attesting to the applicant’s home/residence address—a scanned or photographed copy in *.jpg or *.pdf format, uploaded online to platform;
    3. A photo C.I./Passport - portrait, neutral background, color, minimum 2MP, in *.jpg or *.pdf format, uploaded online in platform;
    4. Baccalaureate diploma (or its equivalent) accompanied by a transcript of records - scanned/photographed copy, in *.jpg or *.pdf format, uploaded online in platform;
    5. Where applicable, documents showing outstanding results in olympiads and competitions in the secondary school years (see Annex VI). The scanned/photographed document(s)/documents, in *.jpg or *.pdf format, shall be uploaded online in platform;
    6. Proof of payment of the registration fee the competition or proof that the fee is waived. The scanned/photographed document(s), in *.jpg or *.pdf format, must be uploaded online in platform;
    7. Application form the competition application form signed by the candidate, indicating the subjects of the competition, the basic faculty, the candidate's choices regarding the triad Faculty-Domain-Financing (FaDoFi). This application can be downloaded (download) after filling in the rest of the information required to register for the competition (personal details, details of your studies and options for the admission competition). The application, downloaded in *.pdf format, must be printed on paper and signed by the applicant (a certified electronic signature is also accepted)then scanned/photographed and uploaded in the same format on the online application platform https://admitere.pub.ro;
    8. Affidavit signed by the candidate concerning the veracity of the data and documents supplied by him/her during the application process. This declaration can be downloaded (download), print it out and sign it; the signed document must then be scanned or photographed and uploaded in *.jpg or *.pdf format to the online registration platform https://admitere.pub.ro;
    9. Medical certificate stating that he/she is medically fit for the field/fields of study at POLITEHNICA Bucharest for which he/she is applying, issued no later than 30 days before the date of application. The document, if printed, will be scanned/photographed and uploaded in *.pdf format. If the document is electronic (sent by the family doctor), it will be converted into *.pdf format and uploaded in platform;
    10. Document(s) proving knowledge of English  (see PG-1.7) for candidates opting for study programs taught in English. This document is not required for candidates who have passed the English language test organized by POLITEHNICA Bucharest (see Session II – 5.10) or have followed a study program in that language in high school.

In addition, for candidates who are graduates of a higher education institution and falling into one of the categories:

    1. Are graduates with a degree and wish to pursue a new degree programme/field - the file is completed with Bachelor's degree accompanied by supplement/matric sheet or a diploma from a higher education institution, specifying the type of funding under which the studies were carried out (budget or fee-paying).
    2. They are graduates but have not taken the bachelor's exam (diploma) and wish to follow a new study programme/field - the file is completed with Certification showing that you are a graduate without a bachelor's degree, specifying the type of funding under which you studied (budget or fee-paying).

For candidates who are/were students, fee-paying or not (at a faculty of POLITEHNICA Bucharest or other universities) and who:

    • They give up their studies in the programme/field/faculty in which they are/were enrolled and wish to enrol (in another field or even in the same field) at another faculty - The file shall be completed with Certification showing their student status or, where applicable, the period(s) during which they were a student, specifying the number of academic years attended and the financing regime for each year (budget or fee-based).

    • Want to follow (in parallel) a new study programme (in another field) - The file shall be completed with Certification showing the student's status and the funding regime (budget or fee-paying) for the study programme in which they are enrolled.
      Attention! Only students who have completed all their coursework by the end of the summer exam session of the 2026/2027 academic year may be admitted and enrolled in the admissions process to pursue two degree programs concurrently. A certificate to this effect or a current academic transcript will be required upon enrollment.


For candidates who are fee-paying students (at a college at another university) and who wish to go duty-free (on places financed from the budget) to the same field of study (If they are admitted to one of the spots subsidized by the state budget, they may be enrolled in the academic year specified by the university Senate’s regulations (possibly subject to passing certain make-up exams)):

    • The file shall be completed with Certification showing student status and funding arrangements.
      Attention! Current academic record at the university attended (with all subjects studied and results obtained) will be required for registration.
