to educational level, teachers from Electronic Technology and Reliability Department have introduced and developed integral disciplines and study programmes for students from several UPB faculties in the specific fields of the Department. The support for the courses taught has been published in the form of textbooks, collections and laboratory guidance by several prestigious national publishers, recognized by CNCSIS, or disseminated electronically on the websites of research groups or e-learning platforms.

to level of scientific research, members Electronic Technology and Reliability Department have published numerous articles in journals and international conference volumes indexed by WOS (Web of Science), IEEE Xplore and other databases representative of the technical field. Over the years, the FET department has contributed to the smooth running of several major scientific events with an impact on the academic and technical community, and we can currently mention the involvement of the teaching staff in the organisation of international conferences SIITME, ATOM-N, International Conference on Quality and Dependability - CCF or student competitions TIE / TIE+. The teaching staff of the FET Department have participated, as Project Directors or as members, in the teams of several national/international research projects, with notable contributions to the development of the field of electronic engineering.
