Within the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, the Department of Telecommunications provides training for future specialists in the field of communications in two specialisations: Telecommunications Technologies and Systems (TST) and Telecommunications Networks and Software (RST).

As further studies, the Department of Telecommunications coordinates a number of 9 master's degrees, some of them offering the possibility of obtaining a double degree through international collaborations, and 12 professors in the department are involved in coordinating doctoral theses.
