At the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, the access of students and to the IT platforms using access credentials centralized on an Active Directory type server, with the exception of the for student.

Important information, valid from the academic year 2020-2021:

• access data for personal accounts managed by UPB (moodle account, institutional email, Microsoft account) is managed through the platform https://my.upb.ro/. Here you can do it password reset or account activation. For those who have already had an account, you can access this platform (and the others) with your old password. Here you just need to update personal data (very important), to be able to recover your password when you can no longer access your accounts. 
• after activating the account through https://my.upb.ro/, if you can't access your Microsoft account, you will have to log in on https://curs.upb.ro/ And change the password, respecting the high complexity, otherwise Microsoft doesn't support it (minimum 12 characters, 4 character types, no dictionary or username words). It is possible that Microsoft account may take up to 24 hours after the password change. Also, even if you have a Microsoft account, after changing your password on moodle or https://my.upb.ro/ you have to wait a while for it to propagate to Microsoft servers.  
• for students there is the application https://studenti.pub.ro/ which is the starting point for access to the other applications; here it's important to set a personal e-mail address and phone number, which will be will automatically propagate to your account. https://my.upb.ro/ where you can recover passwords for your other accounts.
• access issues are reported on the platform https://ticketing.upb.ro/. Attention, just report here account access issues  https://my.upb.ro/

Remarks:

• PhD will need to send a message to the address nicoleta.branisteanu@upb.ro containing authentication data (name, cnp) and data contact (personal email, phone) that will be used to reset the password UPB account (the Electronica admin has no rights over the UPB PhD students).
• For external collaboratorsthe department head or the master program holder will have to send a message to the address admin@etti.pub.ro that containing login data (name, cnp) and contact data (email personal, telephone) of the person for whom the access account is requested. The problem will be solved if the person concerned has a contract (employee, contract collaboration, project, etc.) active.
