What is @ETTI Entrepreneurship?
Entrepreneurship @ ETTI is the ETTI initiative in collaboration with UPBizz through which we promote and help to develop entrepreneurial initiatives of students, teachers or ETTI alumni. We want, together with UPBizz, to be the first point of contact in the entrepreneurial journey of any member of the ETTI community.
What services do we offer:
- We offer mentoring services for ETTI students / teachers who want to start a startup
- We offer mentoring services for ETTI professors / researchers who want to set up a Spin-off using the results of research projects developed through research contracts.
- Correspondence services for ETTI students / teachers with specialists from different fields or from partner companies
- Mentoring at various hackathons attended by ETTI students / teachers / researchers

Entrepreneurship Success Stories @ ETTI
Trusty Camera is a solution for securing images against counterfeiting and for detecting counterfeit images, aimed at both companies and individuals. Photos captured with the camera of the application are dated and secured using its own authentication algorithm so that any subsequent falsification of their contents can be accurately detected and located by the Trusty Camera application, which can run on mobile devices or a server.
The team behind the startup Trusty Camera consists of three experienced teachers from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Polytechnic University of Bucharest: as. Eng. Alina-Elena Marcu and others Dr. Eng. Robert-Alexandru Dobre from the Department of Electronic Technology and Reliability and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Radu-Ovidiu Preda from the Department of Telecommunications.
Trusty Camera has participated in various startup accelerators and competitions, being the winner of the Innovation Labs “Startup of the Year” and the PatriotFest Award for Innovation in Creativity for Security.

The UPBizz Entrepreneurship Centre is a new department dedicated to the students of the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, which serves as an additional measure to ensure an optimal transition of young people from student to young entrepreneur.
