What is @ETTI Entrepreneurship?
Entrepreneurship @ ETTI is the ETTI initiative in collaboration with UPBizz through which we promote and help the entrepreneurial initiatives of students, teachers or alumni ETTI. We want, together with UPBizz, to be the first point of contact in the entrepreneurial journey of any member of the ETTI community.
What services do we offer:
- We offer mentoring services for ETTI students/professors who want to start a startup
- We offer mentoring services for ETTI professors/researchers who wish to set up a spin-off using the results of research projects developed through contracts research
- Services to put ETTI students/teachers in touch with specialists in the following fields different fields or partner companies
- Mentoring at various hackathons attended by ETTI students / teachers / researchers

Entrepreneurship Success Stories @ ETTI
Trusty Camera is an image security solution against counterfeiting and detection of falsified images for both companies and and private individuals. Photos captured with the app's camera are dated and secured using its own authentication algorithm so that any subsequent falsification of their content can be accurately detected and localized by the Trusty Camera, which can run on mobile devices or on a server.
The team behind the startup Trusty Camera consists of three experienced academics from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, University Politehnica of Bucharest: as. eng. Alina-Elena Marcu and Dr. Eng. Robert-Alexandru Dobre from from the Department of Electronic Technology and Reliability and conf. dr. eng. Radu-Ovidiu Preda from from the Department of Telecommunications.
Trusty Camera has participated in various startup accelerators and competitions, being Innovation Labs "Startup of the Year" and the PatriotFest Award for Innovation in Creativity for Security.

UPBizz Entrepreneurship Center is a new department dedicated to the students of the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest which serves as an additional measure to ensure a optimal transition of young people from student to young entrepreneur.
