Zhao Han-David and Stancu Alexandru-Claudiu competed with two mini-sumo robots, under the guidance of Alexandru Guzu and with the support of the Bucharest Community Foundation. They placed fourth and won the Jury’s Award.
An applied course on the transition from RTL code to a verified chip layout ready for manufacturing. The focus is on the physical implementation, from the netlist generated by RTL code synthesis to the final layout and its verification, with an emphasis on operating frequency, power consumption, and area.

28 ETTI students participated in a program focused on technical skills development and career guidance. The students learned about the work and career opportunities at NXP Semiconductors and tested their skills through a technical interview simulation with industry experts.
ETTI showcased robots, quadruped robots, and 3D printing, including the on-site creation of keychains. The festival program also included tours of the faculty’s laboratories, meetings with students and faculty, and presentations on image and sound processing, computers, microprocessors, and integrated circuits.
About 40 students, along with their teachers, visited ETTI to learn about the academic environment, laboratories, and study programs, and to explore educational options in science and technology.
