The discipline aims at presenting in detail mobile devices (smart wearable sensors, mobile acquisition systems, mobile terminals) that are used in various medical applications: remote rehabilitation, (remote) monitoring of vital parameters, remote diagnostics, internet of things in health, monitoring compliance with a medication treatment, etc. Also, the practical part is conceived as an integrative project, in which students will use the knowledge gained in the other disciplines of the master (e.g. smart techniques for automatic medical imaging diagnosis) in the realization of a mobile application / hardware device for mHealth.
