Optimization techniques and random signals applied in telecommunications
Course Holder: Prof. dr. eng. Octaviana DATCU
Laboratory holder: Prof. dr. eng. Carmen FLOREA
The discipline is the combination of optimization and random signal processing techniques. The two directions are useful in the design and implementation of a communication scheme by analysing the methods that lead to the optimisation of the chosen parameters, analyse the vulnerabilities of the communication situation and model the communication channels that the transmitted signal may traverse on its way to reception. The related laboratory implements the studied concepts in Matlab-Simulink for a more tangible understanding.
