The discipline covers the main features, elements and functions of IP radio access systems. Fundamentals of radio access networks are presented, with a focus on WLAN, WMAN, WPAN. In each case network architecture, specific services and applications are analysed. The main digital broadcast technologies (DAB, DVB-T, DVB-T2) are also presented.
