ERASMUS competition March 2024 stage

Update 22.03.2024

1. Erasmus+ selection competition, organized by the ETTI Faculty on March 26, 2024, at 10 a.m. will be conducted in hybrid format (preferably in person, possibly online for students who do not can actually participate in the examination room). The committee will be present for the related interviews in Computer Room 1 on the ground floor of LEU Building B. For students who will participate online, the teams channel where the selection competition will be held:

2. As a specific place for uploading applications has not been created on the ERASMUS platform, they will be submitted to the committee on the date of examination (physically or online through the channel mentioned above).

Announcement 29.02.2024

The Erasmus+ Selection Competition, organized by the ETTI Faculty, is open for applications Bachelor, Master and PhD students of the Faculty. The application file will include the following documents:

  1. Application to the Dean.
  • The opinion of the professor coordinating the mobility with the University for which (see annex at the end).
  • The application must indicate the type of mobility: study or placement.
  1. The situation of the results of the teaching activity, including the average (M) of the study semesters previous. Master's and doctoral students should attach all previous transcripts.
  2. Presentation of professional-scientific activity - awards, diplomas, innovations or other relevant results in scientific events, projects, competitions, olympiads, etc.., including during high school studies, at local/UNSTPB level or at local/UNSTPB level national/international.
  3. Certificate of proficiency in a language of international communication or the official language of host country (can be: Cambridge ESOL, TOEFL, possibly issued by another institution authorized institution, or certificate obtained from the Modern Languages Department of UNSTPB).
  4. Cover letter (in English, French or German).
  5. EUROPASS model curriculum vitae (in English, French or German).
  6. Copy of Identity Card.

Each candidate shall consider the following:

  • the document in point 2 is requested from the faculty secretariat (in extremis a copy from the platform studenti.pub.ro);
  • the document in point 4 is issued by an authorized institution or the Department of Modern Languages of UNSTPB;
  • all documents are placed in an envelope - the Application file Erasmus+ student application form on which they are written, as appropriate:
    • Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology
    • Erasmus+ student application form
    • Name and surname
    • Student / Master / PhD student, Year of study (current)
    • ERASMUS code of the partner university
    • Phone and e-mail
    • Date of submission
  • Applicant students should contact their ERASMUS mobility coordinators to obtain their opinion.
    Note: For registration, each student who wishing to participate in the ERASMUS+ competition will scan the whole file (in the order above above, cover page first) and upload the generated pdf file (possibly files or zip archive) on the https://erasmus.upb.ro/login (for more information, see the Mini-guid_info-Erasmus-en_Outgoing_Applications.pdf). The document or documents mentioned above will be uploaded in electronic form by March 25, 2024, 20:20. The original file will be handed in by the student later according to the indications that will be will be announced during the competition.
  • Further information on the ERASMUS+ educational program can be obtained from ERASMUS Secretariat - SOCRATES UPB ( https://upb.ro/erasmus/) as well as from the mobility coordinators.
  • Language tests for students who will take part in the ERASMUS selection this month March and do not hold a language certificate will take place on Wednesday 6 March 2024 on Moodle, as follows (see also https://upb.ro/concurs-granturi-erasmus/): Note: the results of the language test (mentioned above) will most likely be received by the ERASMUS/Stage March 2024. In exceptional cases, those students who take them (on 6 March 2024), if they do not receive the document by March 25, 2024, will announce in the the fact that they have taken the language examination, proof will be requested by the board directly from the Foreign Languages Department.
  • The competition will be held on the Microsoft Teams platform (ERASMUS ETTI 2023-2024, useful information will be updated no later than the week before the Competition The competition will take place on March 26, 2024.
