The order of the physical (offline) interview for the ERASMUS+ grants on Oct 15, 2024 at 11.00 am, Council Room, is below. Those who cannot participate physically, and want to participate online should write to MS Teams -> Mr. Razvan Craciunescu.
competition in order to select the candidates who will receive the Erasmus+ mobility grants for Semester 2 academic year 2024 - 2025 or Summer Internship 2025, will take place on 15.10.2024 from 11.00. The competition will take place hybrid, physically in 1st floor Council Room A-ETTI body and online using Microsoft Teams platform. Physical presence is desirable. Further information on how the competition will be organized will be communicated to candidates after the submission of their application.
We will do an information session on Tuesday 8.10.2024 in A03. Contact person Razvan Craciunescu - teams.
All documents are uploaded online only on the erasmus.upb.ro . Not emailed or physically delivered.
Candidates must be integralists. Candidates must be years 2-4 bachelor, master, doctorate.
Documents necessary in accordance with regulationl, will be loaded until 11.10.2024 at 23.59:
Art. 33. The student logs in with the institutional credentials (institutional e-mail) on the platform https://erasmus.upb.ro and completes the application. In the application, the student must upload the following documents:
(1) Academic record, including the average (M) of the previous semesters of study previous to the corresponding study cycle, requested from the secretariat of the faculty, except for doctoral students who will present the doctoral student certificate issued by the secretariat of the Doctoral School;
(2) Presentation of the professional-scientific activity, i.e. awards, diplomas, innovations or other relevant results in scientific events, projects, competitions, olympiads, etc., including from the period of high school studies, at local / POLITEHNICA Bucharest, national / international level;
(3) Certificate of proficiency in a language of international communication or the official language of the host country, issued by the Department of Modern Languages of POLITEHNICA Bucharest or by an authorized institution. Your level of proficiency in that language must be at least B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages;
(4) Motivation letter (in English, French or German);
(5) EUROPASS Curriculum Vitae (in English, French or German);
(6) Copy of identity card

If a University has 0 months of study mobility remaining, then you cannot carry out the mobility for semester 2 at that University.

Each student must check the application deadline for the Semester 2 study mobility on the websites of the foreign universities where he/she wishes to study mobility in Semester 2 - International or Erasmus section. This application deadline should be after October 17, 2024.
For the placement mobilities (internships for the summer of 2025) you will currently only choose the country where you want to do this mobility. At a later stage you will also choose the institution or company where you will do your placement mobility. For 3rd year students, this type of mobility is equivalent to the obligatory summer placement at the end of year 3.
After completing the interview all accepted students must continue the Erasmus+ grant award steps and follow the instructions on the website: https://upb.ro/erasmus/studenti/ .

You can find the evaluation criteria in Art 36 and the amount of the scholarships in Art 4.(3).
During their studies, a student can benefit from a maximum of 12 months of Erasmus+ study and placement mobility per study cycle.
Mobilities are classified into:
(1) Long-term mobility which can be for study, placement (internship/internship) or study and placement.
(2) Short-term mobility, which may be Blended Mobility or doctoral students
Long-term study mobility is an action which allows students to spend a period of study of 2 to 10 months in a higher education institution in an EU or non-EU partner country other than their home institution.
Depending on the work carried out by the student at the partner institution, the mobility is
share:
a) training mobility (participation in courses, seminars, laboratories and forms of verification foreseen in the curricula of the partner institution, which are fully recognized at POLITEHNICA Bucharest);
b) Internship mobility for the elaboration of the final project.
Long-term placement mobility is the action that allows students to undertake a practical work placement. The duration of the placement is between 2 and 4 months for bachelor and master cycles, and between 2 and 10 months for doctoral cycles.
Long-term placement mobility can take place in an institution in an EU partner country: enterprises, training centres, research centres, including higher education institutions or other organizations - except EU bodies, EU institutions organizing programmes, Romanian embassies/diplomatic representations
Short-term mobility
(1) Blended Mobility is an action that allows students to undertake a mobility consisting of a compulsory virtual (online) period and a compulsory physical period of a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 30 days in a higher education institution in an EU partner country.
(2) For this type of mobility only the period of physical presence is funded and this type of mobility can be study, placement, or mobility within a blended intensive program (BIP), which must be completed with a minimum of 3 ECTS.
Short-term doctoral student mobility is an action that allows doctoral students to undertake a mobility with compulsory physical presence for a minimum of 5 days and a maximum of 30 days in a higher education institution in an EU partner country.
