Overview

The master program promotes a competitive offer of courses in the field of micro and nanoelectronics at national and international level, providing a foray into the field of devices and circuits in submicron. The master will include description, with computational examples, of the important steps that make up the long design path, from the specifications to the finished product and will provide the trainees with a higher qualification in microelectronics, with the help of well-known professors in our faculty together with renowned specialists from Romanian companies. Students our students are the fundamental element that ensures the liveliness and evolution of this program.

Who is it for?

Graduates of technical higher education with a diploma in fields: Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Computers and Information Technology, Applied Engineering Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering (Specialization in Nanotechnologies and Unconventional Processes), Materials Engineering and Materials Science, Mechatronics and Robotics, Economic Engineering in Electrical, Electronic and Energy, Foreign Language Engineering and in general all graduates from related academic fields, passionate about the Master's program field.

Objectives of the Master's programme

This master proposes to students an incursion into the methods and techniques used for the design of modern electronic circuits of modern dimensions small. The disciplines present a description, with computational examples, of the stages design from device and function to circuit, simulation, verification and implementation. The program ensures that students acquire skills specific skills in micro and nanoelectronics and general skills related to micro and nano adaptation to new technologies and professional and personal development.

Specialist skills offered to graduates

The master program provides the necessary knowledge on (1) how operation of micro and nanoelectronic devices; (2) the processes advanced technological processes for micro- and nano-scale electronic devices; (3) the software tools for advanced simulation of both devices and technological and technological processes; (4) their design and testing; and (5) direct hands-on practical activity.

The program provides learners with a higher qualification in microelectronics in:

  • advanced MOS transistor designs
  • behavioural modelling of circuits
  • analog circuit design
  • architectures, operation analysis, performance advantages and limitations of CMOS amplifiers
  • advanced nanotechnological processes
