Four days of workshops on building a complete physical fiber-optic network, from the central office to the subscriber, followed on Friday by a three-hour practical exam. The local winner advances to the national round, with the possibility of subsequent selection for the national team and for WorldSkills.
Twenty students participated in intensive training sessions and the local competition, under the guidance of Cornel Bărbuț (AFOR), Iulian Apostol (Camusat Rom Telecomunicații), and Ionuț Alexandru Calotă (STS). Partners: Orange Romania, Micromedia System, Prysmian, TeraPlast, Camusat, STS, Prime Telecom, Fibercon, Ethercom, and Celesta Comexim.
