A multidisciplinary center developed by ETTI in partnership with Vodafone Romania for teaching, research, and student initiatives in 5G/6G, IoT/IoE, AI, MPN, and OpenRAN. It supports undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral research projects.
Communications Systems, coordinator Alexandru Marțian: TEMS Investigation/Pocket, HTZ Communications, GNU Radio, SDR USRP B210 and Adalm-Pluto, MATLAB/Simulink, SiteViewer, and srsRAN, for the analysis and development of radio networks and applications.
Artificial Intelligence, Coordinator Mihai Dogariu: applications using PyTorch, Keras, and TensorFlow on local GPU infrastructure for classification, detection, segmentation, language models, and data synthesis.
IoT and wireless technologies, coordinator Ioana Marcu: multiple access and radio planning with Radio Mobile, UGV/UAV systems with sensors, LoRa/LoRaWAN for telemetry and applications in agriculture or environmental monitoring.

The Hub's Inauguration
The Vodafone Innovation Hub was inaugurated at May 4, 2023, as part of the partnership between POLITEHNICA Bucharest and Vodafone Romania.
