Competition:

Sample 1	Algebra and Elements of Mathematical Analysis (40%) - Competition Note 1: NC1 (the analytical programme can be found in UPB Admission Regulations, Annex XI-1)
Exhibit 2	Physics or Computer Science (40%) - Competition mark 2: NC2 (the analytical programme can be found in UPB Admission Regulations, Annex XI-2, respectively Annex XI-3)
Exhibit 3	Composed of (20%):   NB = (GC1 + GC2)2 , where: *the general averages of classes IX - XI:  CG1 = (MG9 + MG10 + MG11)3 *other results obtained by the candidate during high school: GC2

Average of the competition marks:	MC = (NC1 + NC2) 2
Overall average:	MG = (4 × MC + NB) 5

ATTENTION! MARKS AND AVERAGES ARE CALCULATED TO TWO DECIMAL PLACES BY TRUNCATION!

The admission of candidates shall be in descending order of overall average obtained by candidates in the competition, within the limit of the number of places, for each field of study. The lists of candidates declared pre-admitted by the competition are drawn up strictly in the order of the overall average of the competition and of the choices made on the application form.

Following the results obtained and according to their position in the ranking of the competition averages, candidates:

1. Can be declared pre-admitted by competition ETTI - these candidates are eligible for Phase 3;
2. Can be declared with a met bar - these candidates are not eligible for Phase 3 of Session I, but can participate through a simplified procedure (without having to re-enter all the data from the application form) and with a significant reduction in the application fee for the subsequent sessions of the 2024 admissions competition;
3. Can be declared ineligible for pre-admission by competition - these candidates are not eligible for Phase 3 of Session I.

Olympiads and competitions to be taken into account for the calculation of the CG2 mark for the P3 examination of the first session of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology

For the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, the participation and/or awards in the following competitions (depending on the stage of the competition: local, county, national) during the high school period will be taken into account in the calculation of the CG2 mark in the P3 competition.

National Olympiads and competitions mentioned in the table in Annex VI are included in the admission regulations for the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology. They allow for the admission of Olympians and candidates with outstanding results, even if they did not achieve a sufficient result for direct admission without competition. In addition, the competitions listed in the following table are added:
