The discipline aims to present specific issues related to virtual instrumentation systems and intelligent environmental systems. Students are introduced to the structure of a virtual instrumentation system, the peculiarities of intelligent environmental systems, the graphical programming language LabVIEW, the peculiarities of hardware, communication standards and software used in such systems. The applications develop the practical skills needed to use and design the hardware and software required for medical virtual instrumentation systems and intelligent environmental systems.
