Bachelor's Degree – Session II – Admission by Competitive Examination

This session is intended for all candidates who have graduated from high school and passed the National Baccalaureate Exam and wish to enroll in the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology.

In Session II are available places with funding from budget and tax. Candidates who, when registering, also opt for places for which tuition is provided for the benefit of the SRI and/or STS must have successfully completed the additional stage of registration and specific assessment at the beneficiary.
There are 3 areas available in the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology:

- Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications and Information Technology (taught in English)
- Computers and Information Technology (taught in Romanian)

A candidate can apply to only one faculty that holds a written exam for P1 and P2.
In the account created on the platform, the candidate will select the fields of study in order of preference. It is advisable to include all the fields available at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technologies, both for budgeted and fee-paying places. At the end of the registration period, places may remain available if some pre-admitted candidates have not been validated or have not registered. These places are filled by candidates already enrolled at ETTI on the basis of the overall average marks obtained in the competition and the options selected at enrolment.
Candidates opting for an English-taught program must demonstrate knowledge of English by meeting one of the following criteria:
- High school graduation in English;
- Certificate of proficiency in English (minimum B2);
- Test for that language:
- Test POLITEHNICA Bucharest (July 21, 2026 – Details regarding its organization can be found here); SAU
- Exam A, B or C of the Baccalaureate exam; SAU
- English course passed in high school with a grade point average of at least 8,00 (for 9th, 10th, and 11th grades).

ATTENTION! MARKS AND AVERAGES ARE CALCULATED TO TWO DECIMAL PLACES BY TRUNCATION!
For candidates in Session II who have a baccalaureate diploma or its equivalent obtained in another country, the overall average is equal to the average of the tests (MC).
Content of the application file for all candidates:
- Birth certificate;
- Identity card;
- A photo (uploaded online, useful for generating the competition badge);
- Baccalaureate diploma (or equivalent diploma) accompanied by the transcript of records;
- For those applying for Olympic places, documents proving outstanding results in olympiads and competitions;
- Proof of payment of registration fee* the competition or proof of exemption from this fee;
- Application form – is relieved of here;
- Affidavit – is relieved of here;
- Medical certificate;
- Document(s) that make proof of knowledge of English for candidates opting for study programs taught in English.
All documents (scanned/photo scanned copies in .jpg or .pdf format) are uploaded online to the platform https://admitere.pub.ro.
* The application fee is 125 lei. Candidates who have participated in Session I and who have been declared as candidates at the end of the session with a met bar benefit, for Session II, from a reduced registration fee of 50 lei. The registration fee can be paid by referring to the payment explanations: full name of the candidateas well as Basic faculty to which he/she applies for the admission competition, as follows:

The documents required for exemption from payment of the application fee are, as appropriate:
- certificate of employment in the education system of one of the parents, issued by the educational establishment where he/she is employed;
- certificates from the placement centre or children's home, in the case of applicants from a placement centre or children's home;
- death certificate of a parent, in the case of applicants who have lost a parent;
- parents' death certificates in the case of applicants who have lost both parents;
- proof that he is a child of martyred heroes or of those wounded during the December 1989 Revolution;
- proof that he is the child of an employee of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest;
- application to the Dean of the faculty to which the candidate is applying (basic faculty), for exemption from payment of the application fee, accompanied by supporting documents attesting to a precarious material situation, especially for candidates from rural areas (pension coupons from the last month of parents; certificates attesting to the unemployed status of parents; income certificates issued by the municipality where parents live, etc.).
Phase 1
Registration is done online on the https://admitere.pub.ro platform and involves: I. Correctly filling out the predefined fields in the registration form. ATTENTION! You must use diacritics and hyphens (where applicable) in accordance with the documents provided (the candidate’s first and last names must be entered exactly as they appear on the birth certificate; the parents’ first and last names must match those on the birth certificate; the home address must be the same as the one on the ID card, etc.). Phase 2
Candidates may enter the ETTI campus to take the exam on JULY 24, 2026, on foot, upon presentation of an exam ID—either in paper form or digitally on a mobile phone. Candidates can download their exam ID from their accounts on the https://admitere.pub.ro platform, under the Options -> Registration section (below the list of registrations). Phase 3
During this phase, candidates who are still in the admissions process and who, at the end of Phase 2 of the current admissions cycle, were declared provisionally admitted (to a spot at the college to which they applied) may be enrolled in the first year, who have a complete admission file and for whom the information provided during the application process matches the original documents submitted in Phase 3, who confirm their intention to accept the place they have been preliminarily awarded, and who complete the documents required for first-year enrollment and registration.
