* the number of places will be announced according to the places that are released by the candidates admitted in the early session and who cannot enrol because they did not take or did not pass the diploma examination
In the event that there are more than one applicant with equal overall admission averages, the faculty may supplement the number of budget places allocated to a master's programme within the limit of the total number of places per faculty, or a separation of applicants according to their undergraduate average.
The two competition rounds will take place online on the Microsoft Teams platform. Details of the content of the Master Interview tests can be found at here.
The registration fee is 100 RON and was established by the University Senate:
- Children of teachers and teaching assistants in active employment or retired shall be exempt from the payment of application fees for competitions for admission to higher education.
- The provisions of para. (1) children with one or both parents deceased, children from single-parent families and persons at risk of at risk of losing the ability to meet their daily living needs due to illness, disability or poverty.
- Exemption from payment of these fees is only possible on the basis of documents supporting documents submitted by the candidates. Approval of the exemption is made by the technical admissions committees by faculty/department.
Certification of language skills is done in one of the following ways:
- The candidate has a language proficiency certificate for language of instruction (minimum B2); the certificate is uploaded in the online application platform;
- The candidate is a graduate of an undergraduate degree program or master's degree in the language of instruction;
- The candidate has a foreign language discipline for that language of instruction passed in the first year of undergraduate studies with an average of at least 8,00;
- The candidate takes the online test in POLITEHNICA Bucharest of language proficiency test for the language of instruction (if he/she does not fall into one of the 3 previous conditions) and obtains the grade PROMOTED;
- The candidate takes the foreign language test as part of the interview with the examination board.
Application file must contain the following documents:
- standard application form, in accordance with Annex 1 (download from the Regulation), in in which they shall indicate, under electronic signature or by scan and under their own responsibility, all the data required by the that form;
- baccalaureate diploma;
- bachelor's/engineer's degree or equivalent; candidates who have the June-July session or the August-September session of 2024 may submit with for the immediately following sessions, instead of the bachelor's degree, graduation certificate issued by the faculty, stating both the overall average of the general average obtained in each year of study;
- transcript of records/degree supplement, only if submitting bachelor's degree;
- birth certificate;
- marriage certificate (if applicable);
- identity card/passport;
- proof of payment of the fee admission fee (payment is made in admissions platform in the Enrolment Options section, after selecting the Master's degree you want);
- an affidavit (included in Annex 1) declaring that the applicant has never received previously been awarded a budgeted place on a Master's degree course if he/she is applying for a free place;
By exception, candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree examination in POLITEHNICA Bucharest in the sessions corresponding to the academic year 2023-2024 do not need to submit the documents specified in points (b)-(d)
