Evaluation of the diploma/dissertation project preparation activity

During the last semester students prepare the diploma/dissertation project, an activity provided for in the curriculum within the subjects Diploma project preparation and Practice for diploma projectrespectively Research activity and dissertation project development and Practice for dissertation project.

  • By the deadline in the calendar, project leaders must complete the scores for these disciplines. If there is more than one leader, the one in first position is the one who completes.
  • Awarding the qualification Admitted is subject to a minimum of 50% in each criterion and 50% in total for the dissertation.
  • In the case of the dissertation, a certificate (the format is not fixed) from a company where the dissertation project was completed can also be provided. If the internship was carried out in the faculty's laboratories, the supervising professor can match the certificate with this.
  • If the score is less than 50% or is not completed, it will be passed Rejected in the catalogues of the two subjects, which results in the student not being awarded the corresponding credit points and therefore not being able to complete the final year and take the diploma/master's exam in the June/July session.
  • If at the end of the second semester students have not obtained the grade Admitted, they can continue their project preparation work during the summer and obtain a score from the project leader for the autumn session.
  • If final year students do not achieve the grade Admitted this academic year in the respective subjects, they will repeat the year and will have as differences (inclusive) these two subjects totalling 10 credit points, for which they will pay the subject retake fee.
