Titular laborator: Prof. dr. ing. Corneliu BURILEANU
Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems addresses both theoretically and practically architectural concepts of embedded processing systems. During the lectures, topics such as the instruction set, the register set, the CPU organization, the memory organization, exceptions handling, power management, interfaces or security concepts are presented. All of these are exemplified on ARM architectures. Furthermore, there is a dedicated class session for special topics such as new processing architectures or ways of approaching various issues in the field of data processing, all of these being constantly updated. During the laboratory classes, the embedded systems concepts are translated into practice through an attractive project, which combines hardware and software elements.
